It’s Thanksgiving week, and things are pretty quiet around here. Not for long, though; Saturday night the Cat’s Cradle presents its annual Post Turkey Day Jam (which used to be the Pre-Turkey Day Jam). The show will benefit the Inter-Faith Council for Social Service, and will feature three sets of music. The first is a songwriters-in-the-round performance with a terrific lineup: Caitlin Cary, Chip Robinson, Lynn Blakey, Katharine Whalen and Jon Shain, who started this whole thing years ago. The Swang Brothers will take the stage after that, and the evening with wrap up with the Southern Appalachians-meet-Northern India fusion of Hindugrass. 919-967-9053, catscradle.com
