Books Sandwiched In

Readers will discuss “Home” by Toni Morrison at 11:30 a.m. at the Chapel Hill Public Library, Meeting Room C, 100 Library Drive. Bring a sandwich for lunch and share your thoughts on “Home.”

UNC Chapel Hill Employee Forum

General Meditation Class

Crop Hop to benefit local farms

The Rural Advancement Foundation International-USA will host a Crop Hop square dance benefit for small, local farms at 7:30 p.m. at the Fearrington Barn, 2000 Fearrington Village Center, Pittsboro. Tickets cost $20. All proceeds will support RAFI’s Farm Sustainability program, which gives financial help to over 500 family farms. For tickets and more information, go to rafiusa.org/crophop.

Survivors of Disasters Support Group

Nar-Anon is a twelve-step program designed to help relatives and friends of addicts recover from the effects of living with an addicted relative or friend. Family Fun Day in Hillsborough

Family Fun Day will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in downtown Hillsborough. The Orange County Main Library and the Alliance for Historic Hillsborough will host this day of children’s activities, history tours, shopping and dining.

Hillsborough guided walking tour
