Chapel Hill

• Renell Clark, 41, of 2920 Chapel Hill Road, Apt 60D, Durham, was charged Nov. 8 with felony kidnapping, police reported.

• Caleb Hopkirk-Ridlen, 33, of Chapel Hill was charged Nov. 7 with four counts of felony breaking and entering, three counts of felony larceny, felony attempted breaking and entering and larceny, and five counts of misdemeanor damage to real property, police reported.

• Carl Cecil Stewart, 57, of 1225 Merritt Mill Road, was charged Nov. 5 with felony forgery and misdemeanor probation violation, police reported.

• Brandon Allen Harris, 22, of 181 Meadowbranch Road, Pittsboro, was charged Nov. 4 with a felony fugitive out of state charge, police reported.

• Police reported break-ins:

-To a residence on the 800 block of Pritchard Avenue, Nov. 4-5.

-To a vehicle parked in a lot on the 200 block of Conner Drive, Nov. 4.

-To a residence on the 100 block of Ashley Forest Road, Nov. 3.

-To a residence on the 800 block of Pritchard Avenue Extension, Nov. 3, in which a window was broken to enter and steal electronics, jewelry and cash valued at $2,845.

-To a business on the 400 block of West Rosemary Street, Nov. 3, in which tobacco products valued at $40 was stolen.

-To two vehicles in a parking area on the 400 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, Nov. 2-4, in which the rear windows were broken.

-To a residence on the 100 block of Weaver Dairy Road, Nov. 2, in which the back door window was broken to enter and steal alcoholic beverages valued at $300.

Carrboro

• Michael Anthony Ellison Jr., 18, was charged Nov. 7 with felony attempted breaking and entering, and misdemeanor simple possession of a controlled substance, police reported.

• Victor Lewis Moore, 53, was charged Nov. 5 with felony possession of cocaine, police reported.

• Police reported break-ins to residences on the 600 block of Jones Ferry Road and the 200 block of Estes Drive Nov. 4.

Hillsborough

• Jesse Lee Ryals, 21, was charged Nov. 7 with felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver a Schedule II controlled substance, misdemeanor simple possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor larceny, police reported.

• Tyler Chavis McIver, 18, was charged Nov. 7 with felony breaking and entering and felony larceny after breaking and entering, police reported.

• Christopher Okeefe Clark, 29, was charged Nov. 7 with felony assault by strangulation, misdemeanor resisting a public officer and misdemeanor assault on a government official, police reported.

• Blaine William Tyndall, 23, was charged Nov. 4 with felony breaking and entering, felony larceny after breaking and entering, misdemeanor probation violation out of county and misdemeanor larceny, police reported.
