Paw-Di Gras

The Paw-Di Gras masquerade dinner, auction and dance fundraiser for Paws4ever will be from 7 to 11 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28, in the ballroom at the University Inn, 1301 Fordham Blvd., Chapel Hill. Tickets cost $50. paws4ever.org.

Community 5K Walk/Run

The second annual St. Paul Village Community 5K Walk/Run will be on Saturday, March 1, at McDougle Middle School, 900 Old Fayetteville Road, Chapel Hill. The walk and run will raise money for the St. Paul Village, TABLE (a hunger relief nonprofit) and Club Nova (a nonprofit that supports Orange County residents with mental illness). Murphey School Radio Show

The Murphey School Radio Show to raise money for local nonprofits Farmer Foodshare and Meals on Wheels of Durham will be at 3 and 7 p.m. Saturday, March 1, at 3717 Murphey School Road, Durham. Tickets cost $36.50. murpheyschoolradio.net.

Empty Bowls

Urban Ministries of Durham will host their eighth annual Empty Bowls fundraiser from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 6, at the Durham Convention Center, 301 W. Morgan St. Ticket prices range from $20 to $100. emptybowls14.eventbrite.com.

Goathouse Refuge fundraiser

The Goathouse Refuge will host a cat adoption awareness event and fundraiser from 2:30 to 5 p.m. Sunday, March 9, at the Murphey School, 3717 Murphey School Road, Durham. Empty Bowls
