Orange County vaccinates 160 pets at low-cost rabies clinic

— The Orange County Animal Services Department vaccinated 85 dogs and 75 cats during the three-hour clinic June 14, 2014, at the animal shelter on Eubanks Road in Chapel Hill, one of the highest totals in the past five years.

Orange County has recorded 14 cases of rabies so far this year, more than the 12 reported in each of the past two years.
