Teen Advisory Board

The Orange County Public Library’s Teen Advisory Board will meet at 6 p.m. at 137 W. Margaret Lane, Hillsborough. The group of 13- to 18-year-old volunteers works on the library’s programs and services for middle and high school students. orangecountync.gov/library/TAB.asp.

General Meditation Class

Arts & Creativity District meetings

There will be three public meetings on Carrboro’s proposed Arts & Creativity District. The first is from 9-11 a.m. at the Looking Glass Café, 601 W. Main Street. The second is from 1-3 p.m. at Carrboro Town Hall, 301 W. Main St. The last is from 6-8 p.m. at The ArtsCenter, 300 E. Main St.

Overeaters Anonymous

Overeaters Anonymous will meet from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Thursdays at Carrboro United Methodist Church, 200 Hillsborough Road. The group meets in the white building beside the main church building, directly across from Looking Glass Cafe.

Southern Village Farmer’s Market

The Southern Village Farmer’s Market will be open from 3:30-6:30 p.m. at 650 Market St., Chapel Hill.

Library Lab

Ages 6-11 will explore science at 4 p.m. at the Carrboro Branch Library, 900 Old Fayetteville Road, Chapel Hill. All materials will be provided.
