When is The Chapel Hill News published? The Chapel Hill News is published Wednesday and Sunday.

Where can I find a The Chapel Hill News? The Chapel Hill News is included in home delivered copies of The News & Observer in Chapel Hill, Carrboro, Hillsborough and Pittsboro. Most single-family homes in these communities that do not subscribe to The News & Observer receive it free at their homes.

The Chapel Hill News is available in free racks at The Chapel Hill News office at 505 Franklin Street. On Wednesday and Sundays, The Chapel Hill News is included in rack copies of The News & Observer in Orange County.

What time can I expect my newspaper? We want to give our readers the very best delivery service possible. Our commitment to you is that The Chapel Hill News be delivered to your home or business by 6:30 a.m. Wednesday and Sunday in a dry, readable condition. PHOTO REPRINT

How do I buy a copy of a photo you have run? Reprints of photos that run in The Chapel Hill News and other News & Observer publications can be ordered by visiting The N&O Photo Store. The N&O Photo Store offers a variety of sizes - both framed and unframed.

How do I get an engagement, wedding or anniversary listed? The Chapel Hill News publishes wedding, engagement and anniversary announcements on Sunday on the Celebrations page. With the announcement, you may send a photograph of the individual or the couple. Wedding announcements will be published up to three months after the wedding. Forms are available at the newspaper offices at 505 W. Franklin Street and on the Web site. Call 932-2000 to arrange to have one sent to you. Return forms to the office or send to chnclerk@nando.com.

Pictures that are accompanied by a stamped, self-addressed envelope will be returned. Other pictures may be picked up at the newspaper office after publication.

Deadline for pictures and information is noon Thursday for publication the following Sunday.

How do I get an obituary published? Ask the funeral home to fax a death notice to (919) 968-4953. Obits may also be submitted online or emailed to chnclerk@nando.com. Obituaries must be received by 10 a.m. Friday for Wednesday’s edition and by 11 a.m. Thursday for Sunday’s edition. We do not charge for obituary notices, but we do edit them following a format. Please include date and place of death, age of deceased, a brief summary of details about the deceased, and survivors in the immediate family (spouse, children, parents, brothers and sisters) and where they live.

How do I get a letter to the editor published?

Letters that endorse political candidates are limited to 100 words or less. The News reserves the right to edit submissions to fit the 100-word limit. We cannot guarantee that letters received after Oct. 28 will be published. The News will allow up to two guest columns from each candidate.

Other letters should be limited to 300 words.
