As they do every summer, the folks at Paperhand Puppet Intervention will bring their spectacular creations and wondrous tales to Forest Theater on the UNC campus for a month's worth of weekends. This year's show, "The Living Sea of Memory," opens this Friday and runs every Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 7 p.m. (with a different pre-show each night at 6:20) through Sept. 7. The performance, Paperhand says, will "explore the depths of the human spirit as it is expressed in stories from around the world and right here in our own hearts." If you've seen Paperhand's Forest Theater shows before, you need no extra encouragement; if you haven't ever seen one, do yourself a favor and go. Suggested donation is $10 for adults, $7 for children ages 3-12, free for kids 2 and under. Bring a picnic, if you like, and something soft to sit on; Forest Theater has no seats per se.
