Your Best Shot, May 15

Today's Best Shot comes from reader Arvic Macapagal who lives off Homestead Road in Chapel Hill. "I took this photo at my house late 2012. I came home one day to find this enormous spider, clearly a die-hard CHHS Tigers fan, engineering this curious web pattern. Research reveals it to be an Argiope aurantia; commonly, Black and yellow garden spider. Pleased for its placid nature, I leaned in and took this snap. Hope you enjoy!"
