Buddhist center offers teaching, meditation
The Kosala Buddhist Center in Carrboro offers Buddhist teachings, discussion and meditation with resident teacher Gen Tilopa from 7 to 8:30 p.m. every Wednesday.
The April series will focus on the subject "Dealing With Anger." The May series will focus on "Faith Freedom and Spirituality."

A series by the Rev. Verson Tyson on "What Does It Mean to Be a Methodist Christian in 2008" concludes Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Amity United Methodist Church, 825 Estes Drive.
