Chapel in the Pines Presbyterian Church was organized as a congregation of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and the Rev. Mindy Douglas Adams was installed as pastor during an organization service on Sunday.
Chapel in the Pines, a new church in north Chatham County, was chartered by Salem Presbytery. The congregation has 95 active members ranging in age from eight months to the 80s.
