This documentary film event is sponsored by Duke Divinity School's Anglican Episcopal House of Studies, the Duke Center for Reconciliation, and All Saints Church. The Durham screening is April 2 at 7 p.m. at the Duke Divinity School in Westbrook 0012 and the Chapel Hill screening is April 3 at 7 p.m. in the Extraordinary Ventures Conference Space, 200 S. Elliott Road.Both screenings are free and open to the public.
Directed by Laura Waters Hinson and narrated by Mia Farrow, the film explores the topics of forgiveness and reconciliation through the lives of four neighbors once caught in opposite tides of a genocidal bloodbath, and their extraordinary journey from death to life through forgiveness. Both evenings will be followed by a panel discussion exploring the themes of forgiveness and reconciliation.
