2nd Friday Artwalk
The monthly 2nd Friday ArtWalk takes place this Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. at galleries and other venues throughout Chapel Hill and Carrboro. Among the works you can check out are art quilts by Jude Stuecker of Asheville at the N.C. Crafts Gallery, 212 W. Main St., Carrboro. Her quilts are dyed, painted, layered, stitched and appliqued to create unique, colorful and textural works of art. Also on display at the gallery are ceramic works by John Arsenault of Youngs Cove Pottery in Candles. Both artists will be on hand for a reception during the ArtWalk Friday. 942-4048.
