Kailas Nath and Indrani Nandy of Chapel Hill are proud to announce the engagement of their son, Kunal Nath, and Cara Anne Gardner, the daughter of Jonathan Edwards and Sue Ann Gardner of Grand Prairie, Texas.

The bride-elect is a candidate for a law degree at the 2009 May commencement at UNC-Chapel Hill.

The groom-elect has a law degree from UNC-Chapel Hill and is pursuing an MBA degree at the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.

Both have bachelor's degrees from UNC-Chapel Hill.

The wedding is planned for May 23, 2009, in Raleigh.
