Carol and Joseph Bylinski of Chapel Hill announce the engagement of their daughter Lauren Kate Bylinski to Gregory Thomas McCarthy, son of Deborah and Geoffrey McCarthy of Millis, Mass.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Chapel Hill High School and the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Mass. She is an account manager with Target Software in Cambridge, Mass.

The groom-elect is a graduate of Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio. He is employed by State Street Global Advisors in Boston.

The wedding ceremony is planned for April 26 at St. Paul Catholic Church in Cambridge, Mass.
