Julie Anne Ransford and Aaron Isaac Leon were married Nov. 8, 2007, at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Durham. The Rev. Paul Ransford officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Sally and Paul Ransford of Chapel Hill. She is a graduate of Appalachian State University and is a PATH coordinator for Housing for New Hope.

The groom-elect is the son of Donna and Allan Leon of Chapel Hill. He is a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill and is director of sales at Bandwidth.com.

The bride was given in marriage by her mother.

Flowergirls were Haley and Zoe Hiemstra, both of Chapel Hill.

Ring bearers were Paul and Luke Champion, both of Charlotte.

A wedding reception took place at the Carolina Inn.

The wedding trip was to Maui.
