Jim and Tricia Huegerich of Chapel Hill announce the engagement of their daughter Amanda Geary Huegerich to Jason Richard Bostian, son of Jim and Betty Bostian of Claremont.

The bride-elect graduated from Appalachian State University and is director of IT at Graystone Eye.

The groom-elect is a graduate of Appalachian State University and is chief information officer at TSI Healthcare.

The wedding ceremony will take place in Hickory.
