Elizabeth Norwood Peele and Leon Charles Peele of Albemarle announce the engagement of their daughter Hannah Elizabeth "Betsy" Peele to Joseph David Hoyle, son of Janice F. Wrenn Hoyle and David E Hoyle of Chapel Hill.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Meredith College and works in interior design.

The groom-elect is a medical student at UNC-Chapel Hill.

The wedding ceremony is set for March 9 at First Baptist Church in Albemarle.
