The bride is the daughter of Eva and Keith Sischo of Ellicottville, N.Y. She received a bachelor's degree from Mount Union College in Alliance, Ohio. She works for Contract Human Resources.

The groom is the son of Frances and Charles Rogers of Rochester, N.Y. He received a doctorate from the University of Illinois in Urbana, Ill., and is an assistant professor at UNC-Chapel Hill.

The bride was given in marriage by Keith Sischo.

Maid of honor was Bev Swartwout of Hancock, N.Y., sister of the bride.

Best man was Greg Rogers of Chapel Hill, brother of the groom.

Flower girls were Aria and Cadence Munn of Pittsboro.

Following a wedding trip to Key West, Fla., the couple will live in Pittsboro.
