Margaret Catherine Lieth and Marc Szczesny-Pumarada were married April 12 at the Rigmor House in Chapel Hill. The Rev. Duane Partin officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Amanda and Armin Leith of Chapel Hill and Virginia Pollitzer of Kilauea, Hawaii. She received a bachelor's degree from N.C. State University and is an educator with the Brevard Zoo.

The groom is the son of Angela Pumarada and Ken Szczesny of Charlotte. He received a bachelor's degree from N.C. State University and is an engineer.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Maid of honor was Anna Lieth of Chapel Hill. Bridesmaids were Lauren Szczesny-Pumarada and Carolyn Szczesny-Pumarada, both of Charlotte; and Angelica Lieth of Chapel Hill.

Best man was Ken Szczesny of Charlotte. Ushers were Jeff Szczesny-Pumarada of Charlotte and Ahren Lieth and Alex Lieth, both of Chapel Hill.

Flower girl was Angela Montero of Washington, D.C.

Music was provided by violinists Ernest Hahn and Rebecca Jung Kang.

A reception was hosted by the brides parents at the Rigmor House.

Following a wedding trip to Australia, the couple will live in Melbourne, Fla.
