Barbara Joicey Lagemann and Jordy Dickens were married May 31 at Snipes Farm in Chapel Hill. The Rev. Kayelily Middleton officiated at the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Joicey Hurth and James White of Bahama and Robb Lagemann and Gail Butler of
Chapel Hill. She is a law student at N.C. Central University.
The groom is the son of Morris Dickens and Cary Esser of Kansas City, Mo., and Debbie Dewey of Greensboro.
He is a technician with AT&T.
Matron of honor was Kimberly Lagemann Laurent of Madison, N.J. (sister of the bride). Bridesmaids were Rebecca Wells Anderton of Raleigh, Jessie Dewey of Greensboro, Erin Reiter of Durham and Jaclyn Kiger of Atlanta, Ga.
Best man was the father of the groom.
Music was provided by Melissa Alderman of Hickory.
A reception hosted by Joicey Hurth was held at Snipes Farm.
Following a wedding trip to Siesta Key, Fla., the couple lives in Chapel Hill.
