Lebbonee Price George Kittredge IV
Lebbonee DeMia Price and George Dimmick "Tad" Kittredge IV were married Aug. 31 in a double ring ceremony at the Umstead Hotel and Spa in Cary. The Rev. Tim Conder of Emmaus Way Church in Durham and The Rev. Karen Montagno of the Episcopal Divinity School in Cambridge, Mass., officiated.
Communion with the couple, their parents, and the best man and maid of honor followed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Lawrence "Eddie" and Marva Price of Fearrington Village, Pittsboro.
She is a graduate of the North Carolina School of Science and Math in Durham and Wake Forest University. She completed the master's program in business administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill., and is a senior supply chain analyst at Walmart.com in Brisbane, Calif.
The groom is the son of George and Sally Kittredge of Pittsford, N.Y.
He graduated from Pittsford Sutherland High School in Pittsford, N.Y., and Georgetown University, and holds a master's degree in business administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He is a marketing manager at the Clorox Company in Oakland, Calif.
Maid of honor was LeShawndra Price, sister of the bride, of Gaithersburg, Md.
Bridesmaids were Almas Abbas of Washington, D.C.; Elizabeth Laureano of New York City, N.Y.; Sabrina Johnson of Atlanta; and Janet Zhou of San Francisco.
Train bearer was Ashia Basnight of Durham.
Best man was Christopher Kittredge, the groom's brother, of New York City, N.Y.
Groomsmen were Austin Chang of New York City, N.Y.; Norman Cheng of Honolulu, Hawaii; and Oleg Nodelman of San Francisco. Ushers were Terrence Johnson of High Point; Amit Luthra of New York City, N.Y.; and Jason Nelson of Durham.
A reading from the groom's grandmother was given by Sondia Akerele of Gaithersburg, Md.
A string quartet led by Tim Holley from the North Carolina Symphony and North Carolina Central University music faculty and Triangle area musicians provided the wedding music.
The bride's mother hosted a bridesmaid brunch at home in Fearrington Village. The groom's parents hosted the post-rehearsal reception and rehearsal dinner at the Page-Walker Arts and History Center in Cary.
A cocktail hour and dinner and dance reception followed the ceremony at the Umstead Hotel and Spa. Hostesses were Pamela Basnight of Durham; Amie Kim Johnson of High Point; and Diane Webster of Chapel Hill. Randy of Joe Bunn DJ Company in Raleigh provided music.
Following a honeymoon to Bali and Java, Indonesia, the couple will live in San Francisco.

Candace Burke Currin and Graham Winstead White were married on Sept. 20 at Damascus Christian Church in Chapel Hill. The Rev. Ernie Keck and the Rev. Justin Wright officiated at the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph M. Currin of Chapel Hill. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Marie Currin of Durham and the late Garland Currin. She is also the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Crabtree of Chapel Hill.
She graduated from Chapel Hill High School and UNC-Charlotte. She is employed as a third grade teacher at Glenwood Elementary School in Chapel Hill.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James G. White III of Efland. He is the grandson of Mrs. Frances White of Durham and the late Rev. James G. White, Jr. He is also the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Paul D. Chamblee, Jr.
He graduated from Orange High School in Hillsborough and attended Brevard College and Appalachian State University. He serves as worship leader with Campus Crossroads, a student church on the UNC campus, and as a graphic arts designer with Purpose, Inc.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents.
Maid of honor was the bride's sister, Suzanne Currin.
Bridesmaids were Kennie High, Whitney Isenhour, Sandy Laney, and Caitlin Rosendall.
Honorary bridesmaids included Paula Currin, Kendall Jackson and Holly Neel.
Best man was the groom's father, James G. White III.
Groomsmen were Patrick Currin, brother of the bride; Miles Parker, cousin of the groom; Benjamin Triplett; and Jonathan Sherrill.
Reader was Kevin Bates.
The bride's parents hosted a reception with dinner and dancing at the Chapel Hill Country Club.
Following a wedding trip to the North Carolina mountains, the couple will live in Chapel Hill.
