Maureen and Daniel O'Brien of Berwyn, Pa., announce the engagement of their daughter Jamie Elizabeth O'Brien to J. Paul Kindem, son of Nancy and Gorham "Hap" Kindem of Chapel Hill.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College and is a sales executive for a financial software company.
The groom-elect is a graduate of Guilford College and is an investment analyst with UNC Management Company.
The wedding ceremony is set for Aug. 3 in Rhinebeck, N.Y.
