Armin and Amanda Lieth announce the engagement of their daughter Margaret "Meg" Catherine Lieth to Marc Szczesny-Pumarada, son of Kenneth Szczesny and Angela Pumarada of Charlotte. Lieth is also the daughter of Virginia Pollitzer of Kilauea, Hawaii.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Chapel Hill High School and N.C. State University. She is an educator at the Brevard Zoo in Melbourne, Fla.

The groom-elect is a graduate of N.C. State University. He is an engineer with Harris Inc. in Melbourne, Fla.

An April 12 wedding is planned in Chapel Hill.
