Joel and Presley Wagoner of Chapel Hill announce the engagement of their daughter Mary Elizabeth Wagoner to Fernando Notario Rocha, son of Jose Luis Natario Saenz and Maria del Carmen Rocha Maqueda of Seville, Spain.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Virginia Episcopal School in Lynchburg, Va., and UNC-Chapel Hill. She is employed by Virginia Episcopal School.

The groom-elect is a graduate of Tabladilla School in Seville, Spain, and the College of Biological Sciences at the University of Cordoba in Cordoba, Spain. He is employed by the Torrealba School in Almodovar del Rio, Spain.

The wedding ceremony is planned for Aug. 9 at the Chapel of the Cross in Chapel Hill.
