Ephraim Fields

Dr. Emma Charlotte Batchelor and Ephraim Brent Fields were married April 25 at Charleston Harbour Resort and Marina in Charleston, S.C. Dianne Shaver officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Jill Batchelor and Dr. Ken Batchelor of Chapel Hill. She holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from UNC and an M.D. from the Medical University of South Carolina. She is a radiation oncologist.

The groom is the son of Marla Fields and Sonny Fields of Bennettsville, S.C. He holds a bachelor's degree in art history from the College of Charleston and works as a field engineer.

The bride was given in marriage by her father, Dr. Kenneth W. Batchelor

The matron of honor was the the bride's sister, Carly Nunalee, of Wrightsville Beach.

Bridesmaid was the groom's sister, Sonya Fields Easterling.

Best man was the bride's brother, Adam Batchelor, of Atlanta, Ga.

Bagpipe music was played by Mark Lester.

A reception hosted by the bride's parents was held at Charleston Harbour Resort and Marina.

Following a wedding trip to Sandles resort in Jamaica, the couple will live in Denver, Colo.
