Laura Kasson and Andrew Fiss were married July 12, 2009, at Vassar Chapel in Poughkeepsie, N.Y.
Rabbi Rena Blumenthal officiated at the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of John and Joy Kasson of Chapel Hill. She is a graduate of Vassar College and is a doctoral student at Indiana University.
The groom is the son of Mike and Willie Fiss of Syracuse, N.Y. He is a graduate of Vassar College and is a doctoral student at Indiana University.
The couple will live in Bloomington, Ind.
