CARRBORO
  • Mohammed Aitmbarek, 43, of 501 N.C. 54, was arrested Friday and charged with driving while impaired. According to a police report, he refused a blood-alcohol breath test. He was held and bond was set at $1,500.
  • Waymond Thomas Ingram, 42, of 111 Barnes St., was arrested Friday on a warrant for failure to appear in court. He also was charged with resisting arrest. He was held in Orange County jail in lieu of $500 bail.
  • Armando Corona Beltran, 29, of 501 Jones Ferry Road, was arrested Friday and charged with assault on a female. He was held in Orange County jail in lieu of $500 bail.
  • Jonathan Edward Page, 20, of 106 Pine St., was arrested Saturday and charged with underage consumption of alcohol. He was released on citation.
  • Austin Kyle Fowler, 20, of 106 Pine St., was arrested Saturday and charged with underage consumption of alcohol. He was released on citation.
  • A peeping incident was reported Saturday by a resident on the 400 block of Jones Ferry Road.
  • A man tried to pass a forged prescription for methadone Monday at the CVS on the 600 block of Jones Ferry Road. According to a police report, the man was asked about the prescription and he then went to his car to get an ID. He never returned.
  • Residential break-ins were reported Monday on the 100 block of Carol Street and the 300 block of Westbrook Drive. In both cases, police suspect that entry was made through unlocked windows.
  • Two car break-ins were reported Monday outside an apartment complex on the 1000 block of Smith Level Road. According to a police report, one car was left unlocked and the other may have been entered by a keyless entry system.


CHAPEL HILL
  • Venus Victoria Murray, 32, of 704 Gray Ave., Durham, was arrested Friday and charged with misdemeanor shoplifting. She was released on a written promise to appear.
  • Brandon Vaughn McGuire, 36, of 3201-141 Edwards Mill Road, Raleigh, was arrested Friday and charged with driving while impaired. According to a police report, his blood-alcohol level was 0.17. The state standard for impairment is 0.08. He was released on a written promise to appear.
  • Ralph Douglas Burnette, 57, of 109 Dogwood Knoll, was arrested Friday and charged with assault with a deadly weapon. According to a police report, he threatened someone with a knife in altercation. He was released on a written promise to appear.
  • Quincy Marcellos Jones, 19, of 515 Windy Drive, Monroe, was arrested Saturday and charged with driving while impaired on a provisional license. According to a police report, his blood-alcohol level was 0.05. He was cited and released.
  • Dyshun Tyrone Rice, 23, of 408 Branch St., Durham, was arrested Saturday and charged with driving while impaired. According to a police report, his blood-alcohol level was 0.14. He was held in lieu of $300 bail.
  • Samuel Richard Moize, 50, of 85 Havenwood Lane, Pittsboro, was arrested Saturday and charged with felony possession of crack cocaine. He was released on a written promise to appear.
  • Emily Rose Gates, 17, of 2914 Neville St., was arrested Sunday and charged with underage possession of alcohol. She was cited and released to her parents' custody.
  • Alicia Genise Williams, 17, of 3917 Willis Road, was arrested Sunday and charged with underage possession of alcohol. She was released on a written promise to appear.
  • David Cole Atwater, 29, of 915 N. Buchannon Blvd., Durham, was arrested Sunday and charged with driving while impaired. According to a police report, his blood-alcohol content was 0.07. He was released on a written promise to appear.
  • Aung Myo That, 25, of 306 Estes Drive Extension, was arrested Sunday and charged with driving while impaired. According to a police report, his blood-alcohol level was 0.15. He was released on a written promise to appear.
