  • James Robert Saunders, 17, of 1547 Pathway Drive, was arrested Saturday and charged with consuming alcohol while under 21. He was cited and released to his father.
  • Anthony Jerome Brown, 44, of 605 Oak Ave., was arrested Saturday and charged with resisting arrest and not wearing a helmet on his scooter. According to a police report, Brown abandoned the scooter and ran into the woods after he was pulled over by an officer. Brown was cited and released on a written promise to appear.
  • Nathaniel Irving Corwin, 18, of 810 Old Fayetteville Road, was arrested Monday and charged with resisting arrest. According to a police report, he was walking in the middle of N.C. 54 and refused to get out of the road after repeated commands from a police officer. He was held in Orange County jail in lieu of $200 bail.
  • Cherno Ma-ajou Ann, 37, of 6321 N.C. 86, Chapel Hill, was arrested Monday and charged with public urination and consuming alcohol in a public place. He was held in Orange County jail in lieu of $250 bail.

CHAPEL HILL
  • A diamond ring valued at $3,000 was reported stolen Friday from a jewelry store on the 400 block of Elliott Road.
  • Construction equipment valued at $8,500 was reported stolen Friday from a construction site on the 1100 block of N.C. 54.
  • A break-in was reported at a bank on the 1400 block of Raleigh Road. Two laptop computers valued in total at $5,000 were reported missing, but no money was taken, according to police reports.
  • A DVD player and two LCD televisions, valued in total at $1,600, were reported stolen Monday from a residence on the 600 block of Craig Street. According to a police report, someone broke a window pane and then reached in to unlock the door.
  • Clothing valued at $226.40 was reported stolen Monday from a store in University Mall on the 200 block of South Estes Drive.
  • Jose Hermengildo Gonzalez, 30, of 1105 N.C. 54 bypass, was arrested Friday and charged with driving while impaired. According to a police report, his vehicle was involved in a single-car accident. His blood-alcohol level was not available. He was released on a written promise to appear in court.
  • Christopher Thomas Gray, 24, of 203 Conner Drive, was arrested Sunday and charged with driving while impaired, reckless driving and failure to stop at the scene of an accident. According to a police report, his blood-alcohol level was recorded at 0.25. The state standard for impairment is 0.08. He was released on a written promise to appear in court.
  • Bryan Charles Anna, 25, 311 Circle Park Plaza, was arrested Monday and charged with driving while impaired. According to a police report, his blood-alcohol level was 0.20. He was released on a written promise to appear in court.
  • Linda Marie Wilkins, 1250 Ephesus Church Road, was arrested Monday and charged with resisting arrest. She was held in Orange County jail in lieu of $150 bail.
  • Cherno Ma-ajou Ann, 37, of 6321 N.C. 86, was arrested Monday and charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. According to a police report, he walked in front of a police officer while smoking marijuana in a pipe.
  • Nathaniel Irving Corwin, 18, of 810 Old Fayetteville Road, was arrested Monday and charged with felony larceny. He was held in Orange County jail in lieu of $5,000 bail.
