- An assault and battery was reported Tuesday on the 200 block of Towne Ridge Lane.
- Cash was reported stolen Wednesday from a house broken into on the 800 block of West Main Street.
- George Lavon Gattis, 17, of 1000 Weaver Dairy Road, was arrested Wednesday and charged with felony armed robbery. He was held in Orange County jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.
- Sonia Yuridiana Ortiz, 19, of 1709 Walker Avenue, was arrested Wednesday and charged with filing a false police report. She was cited and released.
- Vernal Mayokok Lyde, 47, of 404 Jones Fairy Road, was arrested Wednesday and charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana. He was cited and released.
Chapel Hill
- According to police reports, four cars were broken into since Tuesday. The break-ins ocurred on the 100 block of Melville Loop and the 400 Block of Hillsborough Street.
- Accoding to police reports, four residences were broken into since Tuesday. The break-ins ocurred on the 500 block of Colony Woods Drive, the 4100 Block of Pope Road and two on the 100 block of Huse Street.
- Linda Marie Wilkins, 46, of 1250 Ephesus Church Road, was arrested Tuesday and charged with resisting arrest. She was held in Orange County jail in lieu of $150 bail.
- Bryan Charles Anna, 25, of 311 Circle Park Plaza, was arrested Tuesday and charged with driving while impaired. His blood alcohol content was recorded at 0.20. He was released on a written promise to appear in court.
- Christopher Thomas Gray, 24, of 203 Conner Drive, was arrested Monday and charged with driving while impaired, reckless driving and failure to stop at the scene of an accident. His blood alcohol content was recorded at 0.25. He was released on a written promise to appear in court.
- Raleigh Scott Carter, 19, of 1621 Country Club Road, Wilmington, was arrested Thursday and charged with underage possession of alcohol and resisting arrest. He was held in police custody until sober.
- Brian Eric Hilgeford, 24, of 1809 Aberdeen Drive, was arrested Tuesday and charged with driving while impaired.
