HILLSBOROUGH -- The Hillsborough Parks and Recreation Board is surveying residents and visitors about walking and biking in town.
Survey responses will help the board make recommendations for new pedestrian and bicycle facilities and amenities in the Hillsborough Community Connectivity Plan. The board has been working on the plan since August and expects to have a final draft by January. The plan will include an inventory of existing resources.
The Parks and Recreation Board will continue to collect responses through the end of July. The survey is available on the News page of the town's Web site,
www.ci.hillsborough.nc.us.
The board also plans to survey residents and visitors at Last Fridays, the downtown arts event on the last Friday of each month, and to visit neighborhood associations and neighborhood watch groups.
To receive a copy of the survey, contact Stephanie Trueblood, Hillsborough planner and town representative for the Parks and Recreation Board, at 732-1270 Ext. 74 or

Completed surveys should be mailed to Planner Stephanie Trueblood, Town of Hillsborough, PO Box 429, Hillsborough, NC 27278.
