CARRBORO
• Tara Michelle Brown, 31, of 200 Barnes St. Unit G12, was arrested Monday and charged with felony possession of schedule I drugs, according to a report.
• Someone tried to steal a slab of meat from a refrigerator behind Tyler's Restaurant on East Main Street on Monday. The suspect dropped the meat and ran when approached by an employee.
• Kyle Matthew Burnett, 28, of 501 Jones Ferry Road Unit U9, was arrested Tuesday and charged with driving while impaired. According to a police report, Burnett's blood alcohol level was 0.15.
• Someone slashed the tire of a car on Jones Ferry Road on Wednesday.
• Cynthia Noell Bass, 52, of 500 S. Greensboro St. Unit 16, was arrested Wednesday and charged with assault with a deadly weapon. According to a police report, Bass waved a knife at a man at her home while holding an infant.
• A Goldston Drive resident reported Thursday that six feral chickens were in his back yard. Officers tried to trap the chickens but were unsuccessful.
• A Phipps Street resident reported Thursday that someone stole her identity. She told police that someone created checks with her account number and the name "Westley R. Bossaway." The suspect then used the checks at a Merchant's Tire business and Wal-Mart in Cary, causing a total of about $1,000 to be drawn from the account.
• Joshua Kyle Moore, 19, of 600 S. Churton St. in Hillsborough, was arrested Thursday and charged with drug trafficking, according to a report.
• Vehicle thefts this week:
Someone stole a car from the parking lot of Carolina Apartments on N.C. 54 on Thursday and left it in a ditch on Jones Ferry Road in Chatham County, breaking the ignition switch. The window of a car on Westbrook Drive was pried open on Thursday and someone broke the ignition switch to start the car, stole a wallet from the glove compartment and left the vehicle in a nearby parking lot. A vehicle was stolen on Monday from the parking lot of Royal Park Apartments on N.C. 54.
CHAPEL HILL
• Pierce Coleman Cassedy, 24, of 6123 Farrington Road Unit I9, was arrested Monday and charged with carrying a concealed weapon and resisting arrest. According to a police report, he had a 12-inch knife.
• Christina Brown Johnson, 22, of 100 Forsyth Drive Unit B, was arrested Monday and charged with credit card fraud and felony identity theft, according to a report.
• Wilson Tieh Druweay, 51, of 5639 Old Durham Road Unit 201, was arrested Monday and charged with assault on a female, stalking and communicating threats, according to a police report.
• Lisa Godsey Durham, 41, of 3917 Murphy School Road Unit 7 in Durham, was arrested Tuesday and charged with felony breaking and entering and larceny and larceny after breaking and entering. According to a police report, officers found outstanding warrants for Durham.
• Nyelle Leotis Berry, 19, of 200 N.C. 54 Unit J302 in Carrboro, was arrested Tuesday and charged with assault inflicting serious injury and resisting and obstructing an investigation. According to a police report, Berry assaulted the manager of an Ephesus Church Road convenience store.
• Jonathan James "Jon Jon" Hopkins, 24, of 601 Bynum St., was arrested Tuesday and charged with assault on a female and trespassing. According to a police report, he struck his ex-girlfriend.
• Someone stole eight candy bars and two Pop Tarts from Family Fare on Weaver Dairy Road.
• Liang Han, 29, of 61 Maxwell Road, was arrested Tuesday and charged with assault on a female. According to a police report, he hit a woman in the back of the head and kicked her lower back.
• Someone fraudulently used a credit card at the Marriott Residence Inn on Erwin Road on Wednesday and stole a TV and two bedspreads. The credit card charges totaled $4,500.
• An intoxicated person was standing in the middle of North Columbia Street on Thursday afternoon.
• Cedric Leon Suckie, 32, of 905 Shady Lawn Road, was arrested Thursday and charged with assault on a female. According to a police report, Suckie was involved in a domestic violence incident.
• A Ridgefield Road resident had a "civil dispute over asphalt sealant" on Thursday.
• Gary Glen Feather, 58, whose address was listed as the streets, was arrested Thursday and charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon. According to a police report, Feather stole steaks, tuna and milk from Food Lion on Fordham Boulevard and threatened an employee.
• Someone stole a 1997 Honda Accord, valued at $4,000, from a Pinegate Circle parking lot on Thursday.
• Abidemi Olayode Oladosu, 24, of Estes Drive in Carrboro, was arrested Friday and charged with driving while impaired. According to a police report, he was speeding and weaving within the travel lane.
• A 24-year-old Chapel Hill man was robbed at gunpoint early Friday morning near the intersection of Mitchell Lane and Rosemary Street. The suspect stole his wallet containing a debit card and a cell phone.
• Home break-ins this week:
Someone entered a Pope Road home and stole a TV, a digital camera and $100 cash. A window was broken with garden equipment at a Michaux Road home and three laptops, two Palm Pilots and $1,000 cash were stolen. Someone broke into an Elliott Road home and stole eight bottles of alcohol, two medications and $2 cash. Someone attempted to enter a Hillcrest Circle residence through a window but nothing was stolen. The unlocked door of an Ephesus Church Road apartment was entered and an iPhone, clothes and jewelry were stolen.
• Vehicle break-ins:
Someone stole a GPS unit from a car on Sprunt Street. An audiobook and four CDs were stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
