•Konstantin Sergey Furer, 24, of 10-J 881 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., was charged with driving while impaired Thursday, according to a police report. The report states his blood alcohol content was 0.11.
•Saber Lazarus Long Benson, 26, of 1050 U.S. 15-501, was arrested on a charge of driving while impaired Thursday after police stopped him for not wearing a helmet while driving a moped. According to a police report, his blood alcohol content was 0.18.
•Jermaine Karlos Poole, 29, of 623 Creekside Drive in Durham, was charged Thursday with misdemeanor possession of marijuana, felony drug trafficking, and maintaining a vehicle for the purpose of drug trafficking, according to a police report. Police seized 5.5 grams of marijuana and 126.5 grams of cocaine from the vehicle, according to the report.
•According to a police report, Abidemi Olayode Oladosu, 24, of 201 Estes Drive Extension in Carrboro, was arrested on misdemeanor charges of driving while impaired, resisting arrest, and damage to personal property after hitting a motorcycle at the corner of Church and West Rosemary streets on Friday. According to a police report, his blood alcohol content was 0.12.
•Madelyn Burkhart, 22, of 209 Cottage Lane, was arrested on charges of driving while impaired, according to a police report. The report states her blood alcohol content was 0.11
•Deirdre Fuller, 24, of Rhode Island, was charged with driving while impaired after being stopped for speeding and swerving over the center line, according to a police report. The report lists her blood alcohol content as 0.14.
•Thursday, an employee of the Orange United Methodist Church at 1220 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. told police he saw three men trying to break into the church by pulling the door off with a rope attached to a van. The door and a window were damaged, but the men did not gain entry to the church. According to a police report, the suspects fled in a bronze Chevrolet van.
•A window was broken at the Chapel of the Cross at 304 E. Franklin St. on Friday, but nothing was reported stolen.
•On Saturday, someone threw a firecracker into the Chi Psi Fraternity at 321 Cameron Ave., starting a small fire and causing $800 worth of damage to the wooden floor.
•The rear door of East Franklin Car Care at 1710 E. Franklin St. was kicked in on Saturday, but nothing was reported missing.
•A woman reported on Sunday that 11 pit bulls were stolen from her home on N.C. 54 Bypass. The 10 puppies and their mother were worth $1,000, according to a police report.
Home break-ins:
•Golf clubs, a digital camera, and an MP3 player were taken from an unlocked garage on Simmerville Road.
•A window was damaged and a cell phone stolen from an apartment at Creel Street.
•A wireless router was taken from a home on North Columbia St.
Vehicle break-ins:
•A 2008 Suzuki Reno was reported stolen from the parking lot of Pinegate Apartments.
•A flashlight, CDs and sunglasses were taken from a 2001 Honda Civic on Longview Street.
•A $500 Garmin GPS unit was taken from an unlocked 2006 Audi on West Cameron Ave.
•Paperwork and a pillow were stolen from an unlocked 1996 Honda Civic on Hillsborough Street.
