Susana Dancy will bring to the Chapel Hill-Carrboro school board exceptional experience with budget management, student advocacy and creative thinking.

As a real estate developer she has managed tight budgets to provide opportunities for families to become first-time home owners and solid community members. As a parent of three students she understands the issues. Most recently she has taken a leadership role in the efforts to complete Carrboro High School, and she continues to be an advocate for balance in programs at all levels and disciplines in the system.

Susana Dancy has demonstrated determination, energy, organizational skills, and creativity which will promote the continued outstanding performance of our schools.
