- Sedrick Rodney Maynard, 33, of 262 Branch St., Raleigh, was arrested Tuesday and charged with possession of cocaine with intent to sell or deliver. He was held in Orange County jail in lieu of $7,000 bail.
- Torrey Wayne Perry, 30, of 2010 N.C. 54, Chapel Hill, was arrested Thursday and charged with misdemeanor larceny. He was released on a written promise to appear in court.
- Crescencio Ahacatitla Cruz, 30, of 501 Jones Ferry Road, was arrested Thursday and charged with driving while impaired. According to a police report, he refused a blood-alcohol test and was released on a written promise to appear.
- Jeffrey Marshel Ruffin, 48, of 231 Harper Road, Hillsborough, was arrested Thursday and charged with misdemeanor larceny. According to a police report, he took rib-eye steaks from Weaver Street Market. He was trespassed from the Carr Mill Mall area.
- Allegra Acura Williams, 19, of 301 Lorraine St., was arrested Thursday and charged with misdemeanor larceny. According to a police report, she took a box of crackers from a Harris Teeter store. She was released on a written promise to appear.
- Rafe Delaney Grimball, 24, of 505 N. Greensboro St., was arrested Friday and charged with driving while impaired. According to a police report, his blood-alcohol level was 0.15. The state level for impairment is 0.08. He was released on a written promise.
- John Stanton Gray, 22, of 100 Rock Haven Road, was arrested Friday and charged with driving while impaired. According to a police report, his blood-alcohol level was reported at 0.18. He was held in Orange County jail until sober and then released on a written promise to appear.
CHAPEL HILL
- According to police reports, vehicle break-ins were reported on the 1800 block of Fordham Boulevard and the 100 block of Erwin Road (two). GPS units were stolen from two of the vehicles.
- According to police reports, residential break-ins were reported on the 100 block of Johnson Street and the 3800 block of Sweeten Creek Road. Approximately $50 in property was stolen from the Johnson Street house and approximately $4,600 from the other house.
- Joseph Lederman Hansen, 23, of 208 Pinegate Circle, was arrested Tuesday and charged with felony breaking and entering and felony larceny. He was held in Orange County jail in lieu of $3,000 bail.
- Construction equipment valued at $1,400 was reported missing Tuesday from a construction site on the 1700 block of Dobbins Road. According to a police report, the missing item was a "vibrating tamp."
- Mailboxes were reported vandalized Wednesday in the Standish Drive neighborhood. According to a police report, the mailboxes were run over by a vehicle during the night.
- Perry Kenneth Antwaine, 23, of 2534 Gemena Road, and Maurice Anthony Burnette, 20, of no fixed address, were arrested Thursday and charged with disorderly conduct and failure to yield to oncoming traffic. According to a police report, the two men were standing in the middle of the street cursing at a police car.
- Charlton Tremaine Beasley, 19, of 800 Shannon Drive, was arrested Friday and charged with possession of cocaine with intent to sell or distribute and maintaining a vehicle for the purpose of transporting drugs. He was held in Orange County jail in lieu of $8,000 bail.
