•Someone damaged a plastic slide at Wilson Park last weekend and spray-painted graffiti on the restroom building.

•On Monday, someone threw a rock through the front window of Tres Amigos Taqueria, 109 W. Main St. According to a police report, nothing was stolen.

•Olivia Ramsay Choong, 34, of 1613 St. Mary's Road in Hillsborough, was charged with being intoxicated and disruptive in public Tuesday after she allegedly took pellet guns and a half gallon of whiskey from the house of an acquaintance, according to a police report. Officers retrieved the guns, but the whiskey had been consumed.

•Tuesday, officers responded to a report of shots fired on Pine Street. According to a police report, a man said he and his friend were "playing in the jungle" and shooting birds with air rifles. When police told the man he could not fire a weapon within city limits, he turned his gun over to officers.

•Staff at the Crescent Green of Carrboro assisted-living facility at 624 Jones Ferry Road reported Tuesday that 60 Oxycodone 325 mg pills were missing. The staff member responsible for locking up the medication was terminated, a police report said.

•After trying to pry open the side door, someone threw a rock through the window of Club Nova at 103 W. Main St. and stole a computer's central processing unit.

•Someone broke into a home on N.C. 54 and stole jewelry, cups, a DVD player and an unspecified number of DVDs.

•A DWI patrol early Thursday morning resulted in one charge of driving with a revoked license, one seat belt violation, two child seat belt violations, and one citation for an equipment violation.

CHAPEL HILL

nBetween Sunday and Wednesday, someone threw a brick through the window of a shed at 400 Caldwell St.

•Ricky Michael Edwards, 18, a student at N.C. Central University from Baltimore, Md., turned himself in to police Tuesday to face a charge of felony attempted common law robbery, according to a police report.

•Talbert Scollon Forrester, 29, of 502 Edwards Drive, was pulled over for speeding on Monday, according to a police report. After failing a sobriety test he was charged with impaired driving, consuming an open beverage, driving with a revoked license and speeding. According to the report, his blood alcohol content was 0.17.

•Three teens were charged with a robbery and assault on Lonebrook Drive on Monday. Filip Wladyslaw Maciolowski, 17, of 134 Vintage Drive in Chapel Hill, Grayson Alexander Weigele, 17, of 514 E. Rosemary St. in Chapel Hill, and Arturo Alvan Macahuachi, 17, of 218 Cameron Drive in Apex, were each charged with felony common law robbery and misdemeanor assault for beating two victims and stealing a $70 pair of sneakers, according to police reports.

•The manager of the Marriott Hotel at 100 Marriot Way reported Tuesday that someone left with out paying a $260 bill.

•A victim was robbed of his wallet at gunpoint just after midnight Wednesday at the corner of West Rosemary and Graham streets. The wallet contained credit cards and $80 cash.

HOME BREAK-INS:

•A laptop and digital picture frame were stolen from a house on Ashley Forest Road while the victim was sleeping.

•A storage shed on Erwin Road was damaged and a $400 PlayStation was reported stolen.

VEHICLE BREAK-INS:

•A 1988 Plymouth Voyager was stolen from a parking lot on S. Estes Drive. The van was recovered, but $400 worth of stereo equipment was missing.

•The window of a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee was broken on Green Cedar Lane, and a purse was taken from under the front seat. An iPod, Green Card, driver's license and $150 in cash were reported stolen.

•An iPhone was stolen from a 2003 Chevy Venture on Nunn Street.

•A pair of sunglasses valued at $100 was stolen from an unlocked Honda Civic on Weaver Mine Trail.
