Fannie M. Williams of Chapel Hill died May 2 at UNC Hospitals. She was 95.She was a native of Carroll County, Va., and was a longtime member of Damascus Christian Church.A funeral service was conducted Monday, May 5, at Damascus Christian Church by the Rev. Ernie Keck. Interment was in the church cemetery.Survivors include a daughter, Betty Layton; five grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.Memorial contributions may be made to Damascus Christian Church Cemetery Fund, 522 Damascus Church Road, Chapel Hill, N.C. 27516.Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.walkersfuneralservice.com.
