Peggie Currie Eagle died Thursday after a long illness. She was 54.

She will be dearly missed and forever loved by family and friends. Her family sincerely expresses their appreciation for the love and support provided by all, and especially for the care, love and friendship given by Jim Rodell and Shawn Cousino. The family also thanks A Southern Season for years of respect for her and for immeasurable understanding during this difficult time.

Survivors include her husband, Howard Eagle; daughters, Darcy and Heather Gunn, Shiloh Carpentier, Cedar and Ama Eagle; mother, Emma Currie; brother, Kevin Currie of Dalton, Ga.; and four grandchildren.

Family will receive visitors at the home, 1191 Dave-Smith Road, Prospect Hill, May 18, from 4 to 7 p.m.
