Peggy Gerringer Teague of Pittsboro died May 25 at UNC Hospitals. She was 73.

She was born in Chatham County. She was a retired machinist from TRIEM Inc. in Carrboro and a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church.

A celebration of her life was conducted May 27 in Rock Springs Baptist Church Cemetery by the Rev. Shane Arnold.

Survivors include her husband, Grady Lee Teague Jr. of the home; four daughters, Karen Parker, Elaine Ratliff and Charlene Farrell, all of Pittsboro, and Tracy Collins of Sanford; seven grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
