Tessa Aneen Lentz Cromwell died Aug. 16. Tessa was a gentle and loving mother. She taught her children to laugh and to have warm hearts and curious minds. Her family will miss her forever.

Survivors include: her partner, Ty Thurber; her five children, Ian, Ryan, Olivia, T.J., and Tanner; her parents, Barry and Charlotte Lentz; her two brothers, Adam and Luke Lentz; her grandmother, Florence Myers; and her godmother, Aunt Gwen.

A memorial service will be held on Aug. 22 at Chapel Hill Bible Church, 260 Erwin Road, at 2 p.m. The Rev. Randy Russell will officiate. A reception will follow the service.

The family would like to compile memory books for Tessa’s children. If you are able, please write a remembrance or a story on a piece of notebook-sized paper.
