In 2000, Anne and Roy moved to Chapel Hill. Anne was a dedicated fan of the UNC Tar Heels. She and Roy shared a love of laughter, books, travel, movies and the theater. Anne loved spending time with her children and their families. She was particularly proud of her grandchildren and cherished the time she spent with them.

McJilton; their three children and five grandchildren: Mike Suvick and wife Kristen of Pittsburgh, Pa., and children Graham, Kendyl and Paige; Brian Suvick and wife Laura of Hillsborough, and child, Hana; and Meagan Holcomb and husband Chris of Grennville; a sister, Kathy Archambault and husband Tom of Chester, Conn.; a nephew, Taylor Archambault and wife Nicole of Hartford, Conn.; and Anne and Roy's beloved furry child, Daisy.

She also leaves behind her an extended family and a group of adoring friends.

The family wishes to thank the UNC Oncology Department and UNC Hospice for the loving care given to Anne.

The family will host a visitation at Walker's Funeral Home in Chapel Hill from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, July 6. A memorial service will be planned at a future date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Anne's name to the Gravely Cancer Hosptial at UNC for lung cancer research.
