Cubie Johnson Wrenn of Bynum died April 15 at Chatham Hospital in Siler City. She was 72.

She was a native of Bynum and worked for Odell Mills. She retired from the Chatham County School System and was a member of Bynum United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Ollie Wrenn; a son, Calvin Wrenn; four daughters, Janette Wrenn McCall, Bonnie Wrenn Leonard and Abby White, all of Bynum, and Sharon Rowe of Oklahoma; a sister, Janie Suttles of Chapel Hill; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren

A celebration of her life will be conducted Thursday at 7 p.m. at Bynum United Methodist Church by the Rev. Chuck Winner.

Memorials may be given to Bynum United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 6, Bynum, N.C. 27228.
