A funeral service will be conducted Thursday, May 8. at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Chapel Hill. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in Westwood Cemetery in Carrboro.

Survivors include her husband, Clarence W. Hargraves; two daughters, R. Dianne Speare-Hardy and B. Yvette Pearcy; two sons, Earl D. Hargraves and Ira W. Hargraves; a sister, Claudia Allen; and a brother, John W. "Mac" Wimbush.
