Putting ideas into action

The cultural landscape of downtown Chapel Hill has brightened considerably in the last few weeks, first with the announcement that the Varsity Theatre will re-open in what sounds like a cool new incarnation, and last Monday with the Town Council's agreement to lease Kidzu Children's Museum permanent space atop the Wallace Parking Deck.
