Praying to be ‘normal’

My View: Growing up, I prayed that God would allow me to be the girl I knew I was. As a teenager who took her religion seriously and wanted to commit to it deeply, I prayed that God would erase my knowledge and understanding that I was a woman. I prayed to be “normal.”

Fair taxi fares

Commentary: The unintended consequences of these new regulations may hurt cab service for everyone. The new rules would immediately put five companies out of business, limit new competition, and drive up costs while limiting income. The predictable result will be fewer choices, lower quality and less safe travel.
