Hathway named multi-builder rep

CHAPEL HILL -- Jane Hathaway has been named Multi-Builder Representative for Coldwell Banker Advantage New Homes, working with multiple builders in multiple neighborhoods to sell new homes. Under this program, neighborhoods in the sell-out phase are offered services such as open houses and fliers to general brokerage agents; small developments with 25 homesites or less are offered a full service specialized program.

Originally from Massachusetts, Hathaway graduated from American International College with a degree in biological science. After relocations to New York City and Atlanta, she settled with her family in Boca Raton, Fla., and began her real estate career in 1989. She enjoyed a nine-year real estate career in Florida before moving in 1998 to become a Triangle resident.

Hathaway is a member of the Chapel Hill Board of Realtors, the Raleigh Regional Association of Realtors, the NC Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors. She is also a member of the Home Builders Association of Raleigh-Wake County and of Durham, Orange, and Chatham Counties, the North Carolina HBA, and the National Association of Home Builders.

Bakst certified property expert

CHAPEL HILL -- Over 6 million homeowners are either more than a month late on their mortgage payments or in the foreclosure process. Sometimes the answer to this problem can be a "short sale" -- when the lender agrees to accept less than owed and the homeowner gets out of debt. Owners in foreclosure or pre-foreclosure should seek out the services of a Distressed Property Expert.

Jodi Bakst is one of 850 agents nationally (out of 1.4 million Realtors in the United States) designated as a CDPE, giving her a full understanding of the complexities of short sales, pre-foreclosure and foreclosures. She focuses on residential real estate in Orange, Durham and Chatham counties. She can be reached at Jodi@TeamJodi.com or 888-326-5634.
