East knocked from PAC-6 playoffs

Both of East Chapel Hill's teams were eliminated Tuesday night in the PAC-6 basketball tournaments. In the girls' semifinals tonight at Northern Durham's Poe Gym, No. 1 Southern will face fifth-seeded Riverside and No. 3-seeded Jordan (14-9) will play second-seeded Hillside (20-4) at 7:30 p.m. The PAC-6 boys' semifinals will be Thursday at Northern.
