Tiger Baseball Camp
Instruction for boys and girls of all skill levels, 6-and-up, will be offered 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. June 16-20 at Tiger Baseball Stadium on the CHHS campus. The fee is $95, ($80 if registered before June 1,) and late registration will be available on-site at 8:15 a.m. June 16. Wildcat Baseball Camp
Rising fourth- through 10th-graders are encouraged to register for the East Chapel Hill Baseball Camp, which will be held from 9 a.m. to noon, June 30-July 3 at Wildcat Baseball Stadium. Led by had, the purpose of the camp is to teach each camper the basic fundamentals of baseball through lecture, demonstration and practice. Hoops at East Academy
The 13th annual "Hoops at East" Summer Basketball Academy will host two sessions at East Chapel Hill High School for rising third- through ninth-graders: July 7-11 and July 21-25. Smith 4-C Camp
Registration has opened for the 19th annual 4-C Basketball Camp July 7-11 at Smith Middle School. Designed for rising fifth- through seventh-graders, the camp runs from 9 a.m. to noon each day. The Edge
CHHS head coach Paul Kieckbusch has opened registration for his summer basketball camp: The Edge. Daily sessions will run 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., July 21-25, at Chapel Hill High School. The camp is open to all students rising this summer to grades 3-9 at any school. The cost is $180 per camper. East's Catalax
East Chapel Hill High Lacrosse Coach Franklin Zirkle will host three summer Catalax lacrosse camps. The first Catalax Camp will be held June 16-18 in the mornings at East Chapel Hill High. The second camp is an over night camp at Guilford College. The Catalax Quaker Camp runs from July 13-16 and features an excellent staff in a safe and exciting setting. CHHS summer soccer
The co-ed Soccer Summer Camp at Chapel Hill High School will have two sessions, running 8:30 a.m. to noon both weeks. Session No. 1, July 21-25, is for grades 3-12, with campers divided into appropriate skill groups, and offers instruction on individual tactics and ball skills; it costs $100. Session No. 2, July 28-Aug. 1, at $65, is for grades 7-12, and offers more physical training aimed at those wishing to get in shape for their school or select teams.
