East Chapel Hill earned second in a tight finish in the boys PAC-6 championship golf match on Monday. Northern finished first with a 149, East's total was 150 and Riverside was third with 151. Chapel Hill was next at 155, followed by Person, Jordan, Hillside and Southern Durham.

Alex Pope shot a 35 to lead East, just one stroke off the pace of medalists Stephen Lasher of Northern and Jack Garrett of Riverside. East's Aleem Rahaem tied for fourth with a 36 and Dana Spitz of CHHS was seventh with his 37.
