Sen. Barack Obama toured the locker room and the Smith Center April 29. and even played in a pickup game with the UNC team ("I thought I had one over the National Player of the Year," Obama said after a driving layup against Tyler Hansbrough rimmed out). Monday night, April 28, the Presidential candidate spoke to 18,000 rowdy fans at the Smith Center who screamed like it was an ACC contest as the Obama campaign rallied voters in anticipation of the May 6 deadline of the N.C. primary.
